Dice/Weapons Empty

The forum allows for multiple-sided dice, and we can upload our own pictures. It should therefore be technically possible to have the dice being different weapons.

For example, you could have Dagger, Axe and Shield.

Dagger could have most of the sides being a small hit.
Axe could have one side with a big hit, and most sides being Miss.
Shield could have defensive things on it.

I'm not sure if you can have two dice rolling at once - we'll have to have a go at that.

So, we were thinking of trialling a few dice, to see if this will work. Everyone can then choose their favourite weaponry.

okay I just said this in the tavern but I am going to reiterate

it might be an idea to add armor dice.

also a system where you have a set amount of armor/defence dice and a set number of weapon/attack dice and a set number of interchangeable dice, so you can be offensive or defensive might be interesting.

different weapons or armor could have different dice types and good/fast equipment might have more dice, while crappy/slow equipment might have fewer I suggest the age old xdy system... 3d(axe) or 5d(piercing armor) for instance

that however leaves the question of game balance

We're able to have pretty much anything. I'd thought about copying some kind of D&D formula, but it might be better if we do our own ideas and just playtest them.
